My primary influence is the band Scorpions. I listen to that band more than all other music combined. Also I'm influenced by Uli Jon (Ulirich) Roth, Monster Magnet, ZZ Top, Yngwie Malmsteen, Axel Rudi Pell, Dio, and a bit from a variety of other bands.

2005 has been the Year of Dio. I first saw Dio in 2002 when he toured with Scorpions and Deep Purple, and he blew me away, especially with songs like "Killing the Dragon", "Rock and Roll", "Egypt", and "Heaven and Hell". Over the past few years, I've slowly been picking up material from Dio's career, covering Rainbow, Black Sabbath, and his solo career. He's in his 60's by now, but he still can rock, and his voice is still strong and amazing.
