Does Uli do much touring in Southern California... I saw him play with Scorpions in the mid-70's when I was a youngster... I liked them a lot but started to hate the band when they got into singing sappy ballads ... and, that munchkin's voice got really irritating... I actually bought the first ELECTRIC SUN album (remember vinyl?) and thought it was okay but would like to listen to it now... I believe it is in my dad's house's attic warped like an overcooked grilled cheese sandwich!
Is it true that Uli will be playing the TJ cantina circuit in the fall? If so, do you think Manu Chao will be able to open up for him? He's another guy who is very talented but doesn't get paid enough to make rent.
