Anastassia Skye has not toured yet. However, Charon has had several public performances. During the summer of 1996, Charon performed before 75 people with a composition he composed. Needless to say, he was scared silly and had a difficult time playing. He wasn't that good at the time, but in the end, he didn't die of embarrassment.
Four years later in July 2000 he played several more pieces in front of a smaller audience of 30 and even had a request to play another song or few. Needless to say, it wasn't a complete flop this time.
In July 2005 there was another performance before 50 people, where he played a number of songs, covering traditional pieces (Canon In D) to modern music (Yngwie Malmsteen) and several of his own compositions (Remember, Faith, Hope, & Charity, Nothing & Nameless, Pedal Paraphrase).
Practice, may indeed, make perfect -- or at least improve one's skills enough to be plausible.
